Who I am

Hey! I'm Rivka and this is a bit about me, I'm a 17-year-old amateur videographer and photographer and hope to improve myself over time. I picked up my first camera when I was 5 and have my whole life documented. (This also includes my slime phase from like 2017 that I have a video of, but we don't talk about that)
I also write (I'm not kidding I have like 4 journals complete) and do some graphic designing sometimes.In my free time, I work on Programming projects. I have been coding for around 3 years and have learnt some Javascript and Python. Last summer, I worked on both front-end development like Javascript and HTML and some back-end programming with Python.

Why you should hire me

I'm a fun person to work with. I have a lot of ideas that need a place to go. As a school student, the one thing I lack is experience and I think hiring gives me an amazing opportunity to become better at what I do because I believe every person has a place for improvement. I am confident and understand things fast. If there are additional skills that I need to pick up, I process them quickly and pick them up in a short time.
I respect critical opinions from everyone and always try my best to improve myself.

Coding Projects.

Coke Discord Music Bot

Coke Bot was an open-source discord music bot that I coded last year and it is a multipurpose bot that was coded with Discord API and Javascript. It has multiple features including searching through multiple music databases to play songs. It has an average speed of about 15 to 20 seconds to play songs because of not being able to use Youtube and Spotify API (because of their copyright)

Chess with an AI

A simple chess algorithm with alpha-beta pruning and board evaluation with piece-square tables.
A few months I coded a simple game of Chess with a simple algorithm using Javascript and CSS.
It took a few days and a couple of tutorials to get it to work.

Python Clock

This project was probably one of the more easy projects that I have done. It was made with Python using tkinter.ttk. It's a very simple clock that shows the time and date.

Graphic Design Work

1. Scream Of Ghosts was an online filmfest that was held in October by a small group of movie enjoyers and I was assigned to design the advertisement for the 2 day festival.2. When #TEAMTREES was announced I decided it was a good idea to design a poster for the cause and post about it.3. In light of the situation in Ukraine with their war against Russia, A lot of citizens are in grave danger from the Russian government. So I designed a poster to spread awareness about the situation and also included a link to a donation to help Ukrainian families stuck in the war.Back to Home
